How To: Dip-Dye Your Hair With JELLO?

Yes! The time has come and I have finally dyed my hair! The winner of the poll was red, so I used Raspberry jello. Here is how it's done:

Step One:

Gather your supplies. I used 2 packs of Sugar Free Raspberry Jello, 2 cups of water, a saucepan and some old towels that you don't mind getting dirty.

(I also recommend wearing an old tee-shirt)

Step Two:

Mix the packets of Jello with the cups of water in the saucepan and bring it to a boil. You also want to stir the mixture frequently because to goal is for the Jello to dissolve.

Step Three:

Pour the mixture into two separate vessels. (I found that mugs worked really well) Then, wait for the concoction to cool to a reasonable temperature.

Step Four:

Dip your hair into the mugs and soak it for 3-5 minutes. The lighter your hair is the less time you need to absorb the dye, but the darker you want the color the longer you should leave your hair in the mixture.

Step Five:

Pat dry your hair.
